It was with great pleasure I read your post on the Steel Soldiers Web Site! They started that thread just for me! I was totally given the brush off by most of these
guys when I first posted on there. I was excited about my truck and was just telling
them the features and specifications and it was like everybody had something to say
to the contrary of the facts! They said the Pneumants could not handle that much weight and that the truck couldn't haul that much and on and on! I know after they
see your absolutely awesome story about your adventures in the Mighty IFA, they
will maybe start to understand about this magnificent marvel of fine engineering!!!
I am wondering the value of my W-50 as seen in the photos I had sent you when
you first contacted me a while ago. I have had offers on it and have turned down a
few good offers but not good enough! My truck now has 2,750 ACTUAL MILES
on it! It only had 800 Miles on it when I aquired it! I would greatly appreciate it if
you would tell me how much it cost to ship your IFA here to the states when you were here in 2004 I think it was. I would like to know the amount so I can use it to help figure an amount my truck is worth! Mine is the military version and I have the Original Delivery Receipt from the factory, The Original Build Sheet, Original Key, and even the tires are original! I have about $18,500.00- $20,000.00 US Dollars invested in my W-50 in Trade Value. I've told people it's $22,500.00 and some think
it is too much, but I think it probably cost $50-$60,000.00 US NEW maybe? If you
know what a 1982 military version sold for new, that would also greatly help me!
If shipping is $10K US or so to here, then I should add that to the price, or most of it, because over there is the only place that they could probably ever find one for sale!
I am fascinated with your adventures and can only dream about doing that! If I had a
